Bestselling traditional German sweet bread for Christmas, my version is loaded with almonds, rum-soaked dried cherries, raisins and sultanas and homemade candied peel, and wrapped around a centre of homemade orange almond marzipan. Once cooled the whole surface is brushed with melted butter and heavily dusted with icing sugar.

 

Large Stollen at approx 1kg. Gift wrapped. Ready to be eaten on Christmas day or upto 6 weeks if kept in an airtight tin.
