Christmas Baking

Join me in this special Christmas baking class to make some deliciously rich festive bread, perfect as a special gift to someone you love, or to share with friends and family. You'll learn how to make an enriched dough incorporating eggs, milk, butter, sugar, Christmas spices and dried fruit and nuts and then creating some wonderful sweet breads to share!

Ideally you'll have some baking experience but it is not essential and I will guide you through the steps. This is a yeasted bread course and you will learn how to mix and work the dough, how to shape and bake beautiful breads to take home with you. We will make a traditional fruit-filled German Stollen with a homemade marzipan filling, followed by a sensational Christmas Cinnamon Star or a super Savoury Wreath.
