I’ve always had a passion for travel and a big part of that is trying new food. I've been an avid baker since living in Hong Kong, then after moving to Seattle I developed a keen interest in sourdough bread visiting small artisanal bakeries producing the bread which San Francisco is famous for.


Arriving in the UK in 2018, I missed my visits to the neighbourhood bagel shop and more particularly, the quality of bagels. The idea of setting up my own bakery then began to take shape. I now run my own micro-bakery from my home in the centre of Epsom.

The aim of Bake 88 is to make and sell what I love, that is freshly baked real bread to the local community. No two bagels or loaves ever look the same shape, but they share the same wonderful taste and smell! 


I am a member of the Bread Angels, I'm always learning and have done lots of training including a Patisserie course at Leiths.
