Easter Baking - Hot Cross Buns & Sweet Breads

On this half day course you'll learn about enriched bread incorporating eggs, milk, butter, fruit/ chocolate and sugar into the dough and then creating some wonderful sweet breads, with a focus on Easter breads.  

Ideally you'll have some baking experience but not essential and I will guide you through the steps. This is a yeasted bread course and you will learn how to mix and work with enriched doughs, how to shape and bake beautiful breads. Possible bakes will be:-

• Hot Cross Buns

• Maritozzi Buns

• Easter Brioche

• Chocolate Babka
