Easter Baking - Hot Cross Buns & Sweet Breads

On this half day course you'll learn about enriched bread incorporating eggs, milk, butter, fruit/ chocolate and sugar into the dough and then creating some wonderful sweet breads, with a focus on Easter breads.  

As well as Hot Cross Buns flavoured with warm spices and dried fruit, we will be baking Swedish Cream Buns (Semlor) flavoured with cardamom.

Ideally you'll have some baking experience but this is not essential and I will guide you through the steps. This is a yeasted bread course and you will learn how to mix and work with enriched doughs, how to shape and bake beautiful breads. You will be able to taste your creations then take them home with you.

Classes are a maximum of 4 people ages 16+ and all equipment, ingredients and recipes will be provided.
