Hot Cross Buns & Easter Baking

This course is a short introduction into the wonderful world of Easter baking with an emphasis on sweet breads enriched with butter and milk, added dried fruit, warm spices and nuts. The course will start with making homemade Hot Cross Buns from scratch, then we will make sweet buns such as Scandinavian cream buns called Semla and sugar studded Easter bunnies. Whether you’re a complete novice or have some baking experience, join me in my home kitchen in Epsom where we will have lots of fun and you will come away with new skills to practice time and time again at home.

All equipment, ingredients and recipes will be provided, together with homemade treats including bread (of course), tea, coffee or juice.  Bring an apron and a big bag to take your bread home in - there will be ALOT!
