About the event

Have your baking skills been dormant for a while? Then it's time to get an apron on and get stuck into dough. This class is a short introduction into sourdough baking, working with starters, different kinds of flour and looking at the methods for making a variety of sourdough breads in a home oven. You will learn how to mix, knead and how to shape bread dough.

Classes are a maximum of 4 people ages 16+ and all equipment, ingredients and recipes will be provided.  

Bring an apron and a big bag to take your bread home in - there will be ALOT!

Course is 3 hours long and refreshments are provided.

Course location:- Charlotte's House, Epsom (5 mins from town centre, parking available)

Country Sourdough

Sourdough Focaccia

Wholegrain Sourdough Tin Loaf

Rye Sourdough

Sourdough Scones

Sourdough Muffins

Charlotte is a self-taught bread enthusiast having baked bread for many years and now runs a successful bakery business from home. She has also received training under Sara Ward of Hen Corner, Bread Angels and Leiths.
