About the event
This special Oktoberfest lesson incorporates both bagels and pretzel making in one go. I will teach you to make both breads from scratch using authentic recipes in my home kitchen, learning how to make the doughs and how to shape them by hand. We will boil and bake the bagels with a variety of toppings of your choice; for the pretzels we will dip them in a lye solution before baking. Some previous breadmaking experience would be beneficial but it is not essential.
Classes are a maximum of 4 people ages 16+ and all equipment, ingredients and recipes will be provided.
Bring an apron and a big bag to take your bread home in - there will be ALOT!
Course is up to 4 hours long and refreshments are provided.
Course location:- Charlotte's House, Epsom (5 mins from town centre, parking available)
